What seeds are you planting today?

Self inquiry questions?

  • What seeds am I planting today?
  • How does this metaphor help?

I enjoy planting chili pepper seeds. Living in Las Vegas, I have learnt how to nurture chili seeds; with just enough water and not too much direct sunshine. Also, being aware of windy days, especially when they are seedlings, so they don't end up flying down the street! If I didn't know what type of harvest I was hoping to get, I might plant the wrong seeds and I might nurture them incorrectly.

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant"

- Robert Louis Stevenson. -

This seed quote/metaphor begins with discovering a Sankalpa; One of the meanings of Sankalpa is "The expression of your hearts deepest and truest desire". Once I know my hearts truest desire, I will not only plant the correct seeds, I will appropriately nurture them AND know when they produce the fruit I want!

Once we know WHY and WHAT are desire is, each day we can plant appropriate seeds.

So my question is: What seeds are you planting today?

Are they seeds inline with your hearts deepest desires?
